- Carrot: protects the skin and promotes its renewal; it also guarantees good and regular defecation, with prompt waste elimination.
- Yeast: very rich in vital elements, it improves the hepatic detoxifying activity and reduces or eliminates intestinal fermentation, an important source of self-intoxication.
- Lemon: vitamins A, C, and PP keep skin cells young and efficient; the juice has a general purifying action and, applied locally, is antiseptic and bactericidal.
Foods Not Recommended For Acne
In general, all fatty foods such as sausages, fatty cured meats such as salami and mortadella, fried foods, salty snacks, highly sugary foods such as sweets and candies and chocolate should be avoided.
